For many years I've struggled with self-improvement. I was unable to find and maintain a repeating rhythm to get consistent improvements. In the winter of 2021 I began doing a seasonal daily practice. This seasonal rhythm has flourished and now consistently helps me grow. During each season I spend a half hour every morning recalling word for word new groups of self-improvement imperatives. All of these framework groups connect ideas and processes from various sources. Each imperative group is usually given as a set of statements for actions to be done. Then throughout the day in real time, in real life I will do the real work of developing my behaviors by recalling and using these imperatives to get desirable outcomes.
Every season my daily work on each new set of imperatives contributes to my well-being and helps me acquire and use more effective positive behaviors. I've created this website to share my daily practice with others who strive to take care of themselves and be their best selves through personal development, self-improvement, and social-emotional learning.
